Projects
The Genealogical Society of Ireland is rightly called “Ireland’s most active Genealogical Organisation”. At any time, a range of projects are going on or being planned. Frequently, these projects need help from volunteering members.
Such projects might include:-
- Recording and publication of cemetery inscriptions
- Extracting information from original documents into databases
- Preparation and publication of journals, books, etc
- One-off projects e.g. Assembly and shipping of books for Sarajevo University following major fire
etc
