Projects

The Genealogical Society of Ireland is rightly called “Ireland’s most active Genealogical Organisation”. At any time, a range of projects are going on or being planned. Frequently, these projects need help from volunteering members.

Such projects might include:-

  • Recording and publication of cemetery inscriptions
  • Extracting information from original documents into databases
  • Preparation and publication of journals, books, etc
  • One-off projects e.g. Assembly and shipping of books for Sarajevo University following major fire
    etc
