A talk on the iconography of headstones and how they reflected society in the Wicklow/Wexford area in the 18th and 19th centuries.

 Genealogy Days – DLR Summer of HeritageClarification of Date

Two Genealogy days are planned as part of The DLR Summer of Heritage Programme with the co-operation of The Genealogical Society of Ireland.

  • Sunday 28th July – at Cabinteely House 2.00-5.00pm (Note: there is an ambiguous date in the Summer of Heritage Brochure)
  • Saturday 17th August – at Marlay House 2.00-5.00pm

These free events will feature live demonstrations, lectures, and personal consultations on family history, and are intended for beginners as well as for those who have made some progress.
